1993

In 1993, David R. Schroeder, a seasoned professional, embarked on his journey in the Low Voltage Industry, specializing in Prewires and Phone Systems for Office Buildings, Hotels, and Data Centers across the country.
2005

In a pivotal moment in 2005, Dave took a bold leap to pursue his entrepreneurial aspirations and thus established DRS Technologies. Originally focusing on smart home solutions tailored for the mid and high-end markets, the company also drew from its extensive 15+ years of experience in the commercial sector to offer a comprehensive range of services. DRS, a division of DRS Technologies, now caters to a diverse set of needs including Prewires, A/V installations, Automation, Networking, Alarms, Surveillance, and Card Access, spanning both commercial and residential domains.
2023

Fast forward to 2023, a significant milestone was reached as DRS Technologies successfully acquired Accurate Computer Consulting Inc., a company established in 1992 by Scott M. Kennedy. This strategic move was a result of the synergy between Dave and Scott, initiated through collaborative projects that culminated in a merger. With this integration, DRS Technologies further expanded its service portfolio to encompass full IT and MSP solutions, delivering essential services such as computing maintenance, network infrastructure, email management, network monitoring, cybersecurity measures, and cloud backup solutions.
